Wireless

Enterprise wireless is different from a few home routers: centralized management, seamless roaming and enterprise-grade security. Here you will find access points and controllers from Cisco, Aruba and Huawei. Include concurrent users, floor area and wall materials, and the management model (controller or cloud) in your request.

Choosing Wireless: what to check

Points worth knowing before you buy or request a quote. Any other questions can go in the request form for our technical partners to answer.

Wi-Fi 6 or Wi-Fi 6E/7?

Wi-Fi 6 is enough for most offices. Wi-Fi 6E and 7 add the 6 GHz band with cleaner channels, but clients must support it and 6 GHz regulations differ by country.

How many access points do I need?

Design for capacity, not just area — typically 25–40 active users per AP. Concrete and metal walls cut coverage; a site survey before buying is the reliable approach.

What does the regulatory domain code (e.g. -E) mean?

The letter at the end of an AP part number indicates its regulatory domain (allowed channels and power). Pick the variant for the installation region; if unsure, state the country of installation.
