Routers & SD-WAN
Edge routers and SD-WAN appliances connect branches, headquarters and the internet. This section covers Cisco Catalyst 8000 and ISR routers and comparable platforms from other brands. To choose well, consider real WAN throughput with encryption enabled, the number of tunnels and the interface modules you need.
Routers & SD-WAN: supplied on request
No products from this category are listed online yet, but we can supply them through our partner network and international sourcing. Send the model or part number to get a USD price and lead time.
Check any part number straight from the vendor
Specs come from HPE PartSurfer and the official Cisco, Dell, Lenovo, Juniper, Fortinet, APC sites and more — including HPE spare-part lists — and you can request a USD price with the Toman equivalent right there.
Choosing Routers & SD-WAN: what to check
Points worth knowing before you buy or request a quote. Any other questions can go in the request form for our technical partners to answer.
How realistic is the advertised throughput?
Datasheet figures are usually measured without encryption and with large packets. For VPN and SD-WAN, use the IPsec or "with services enabled" column.
Are interface modules sold separately?
Yes — on most modular routers extra ports (SFP, LTE, serial) are separate modules. List the interfaces you need in your request.
Does SD-WAN need a separate licence?
Usually, yes. SD-WAN and security features depend on a software subscription whose term (e.g. 3 or 5 years) and tier are chosen at purchase.
