What should I order a part by?
The best reference is the manufacturer part number on the label or in the server's management console (iLO, iDRAC, XClarity). Without it, the server model, generation and serial number help identify a compatible part.
Is the memory compatible with my server?
Memory generation (DDR4/DDR5), type (RDIMM/LRDIMM), speed and rank must match the server's CPU and board. Mixing unlike modules lowers performance or prevents booting.
New, refurbished or used?
For older or end-of-life parts, refurbished units are sometimes the only option. Each offer states the condition explicitly so you can decide with full information.
